Pathfinder: Looking forward

Hey everyone, it's been a minute! I wanted to take the chance today to check in and talk about Pathfinder, specifically what the future holds. Let's get into it.

Pathfinder: The Demolouge was my first game release; by all of my metrics, it was a great success! I really enjoyed getting the chance to meet new people, get great feedback, and generally experience what it's like to share my game with the world. In a short amount of time, we worked together to make Pathfinder something really special and much better than it was in its first week during the soft launch.

After the launch of Easy mode, I took a little vacation. While I wasn't working on game dev, I was definitely plotting what was ahead. Currently, I have two main goals, both of which are relevant to the future of the game. Firstly, I'd like to put a bow on Pathfinder and release the full game in the next few weeks. I want to manage expectations here and maintain transparency, currently, the full launch of Pathfinder looks like more levels. I don't think this is the end of the road for Pathfinder, but I've spent over a year getting to where we are now, and the game is in a pretty happy state. My plan here is to release additional levels and MAYBE (probably) some new features before putting the game on the back burner for a while.

So, Pathfinder is going to take the backseat for a while. What's next? In the past three days, I've started work on a new prototype, one that I've been piecing together in my head for a good while. It is really really early stages, however, I am really excited to dig into it and give you guys a look sometime soon.

I just want to thank everyone again for all of the support for the Pathfinder demo, it has been an incredible experience and I can't wait to keep sharing my work with you all!  Keep an eye out here for updates in the coming days and weeks for more updates on Pathfinder 1.0, "The Lost Levels"!
